    With over 13 years of chartering across the Western Mediterranean, Captain Johnny brings extensive local knowledge and a calm, professional approach to every voyage. Based in Palma de Mallorca, he knows the Balearic Islands inside out, from renowned waterfront restaurants and vibrant hotspots to secluded anchorages and hidden coves accessible only by yacht. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Johnny obtained his commercial Captain's licence at 21 and spent a decade operating charter vessels and tourist ferries. During the Mediterranean off-season, he volunteers with the South African Sea Rescue Service and was awarded the Silver Gallantry Award in 2015 for rescuing a person swept out to sea in severe storm conditions. Known for his approachable nature and guest-focused attitude, Johnny is dedicated to creating seamless, personalised charter experiences on board RAOUL W.

    Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Steffie developed her passion for hospitality and gastronomy at an early age, inspired by her father, a fine dining chef and restaurateur. She brings this love of exceptional service and attention to detail to every charter aboard RAOUL W. With more than seven years’ experience aboard luxury motor yachts, Steffie is known for her warm, professional approach and her ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Passionate about travel, watersports, gastronomy and wine, she combines her love of the Mediterranean lifestyle with excellent local knowledge of the Balearic Islands. From recommending hidden beaches and waterfront restaurants to ensuring every detail of your charter runs seamlessly, Steffie is dedicated to creating memorable experiences both on board and ashore.
