Mengi Yay Yachts traces its roots to 1964, when founder Ramazan Mengi began learning the craft of boatbuilding in Istanbul. From those early beginnings building rowing and fishing boats, the family business has evolved into an established custom superyacht shipyard, with its principal facilities in Tuzla, Türkiye.
The shipyard combines generations of Turkish craftsmanship with contemporary design and advanced engineering, building luxury motor and sailing yachts in a range of materials. A strong emphasis on in-house expertise allows Mengi Yay to closely manage each stage of construction while creating yachts around the individual requirements of their owners.
Today, Mengi Yay produces both fully custom yachts and established lines including Virtus and NL Plus, working with internationally recognised designers and naval architects. Its combination of family heritage, craftsmanship and increasingly ambitious superyacht projects has established the yard as a distinctive name in modern Turkish yacht building.
