Founded in 1998, Discovery Yachts established its reputation with the Ron Holland-designed Discovery 55, created as a luxury bluewater yacht capable of being sailed around the world by a crew of two. Its combination of comfort, safety and short-handed sailing became central to the Discovery philosophy.
Today, Discovery is entering a new chapter from Plymouth, UK, combining its established bluewater heritage with contemporary design, technology and a strong focus on sustainability. Superyacht designer Rob Doyle leads the design of its new generation of yachts, building on the DNA of the original Discovery range.
The current collection includes the D55, D60 and flagship D68, each designed for extended offshore cruising with an emphasis on safety, comfort and ease of handling. The brand has also introduced reDISCOVERY, which comprehensively refits and upgrades existing Discovery 55 hulls to create an alternative approach to yacht ownership.
