Description
At 50 metres and under 500 GT, Sophia is an all-aluminium, fast-cruising yacht powered by next-generation green ocean engines. She belongs to Heesen’s pioneering 50-metre fast-cruising class — the first of its kind under 500 GT to meet IMO Tier-III emissions standards. A sleek, sporty exterior by Omega Architects perfectly complements her performance-driven character and clean design lines.
Heesen’s optimised, low-drag hull with a reduced transom depth creates a shallow shaft angle, enhancing comfort in rough seas while allowing effortless access to shallow waters. This ultra-efficient hull shape delivers both engineering excellence and adventurous spirit, making Sophia equally suited for carefree island hopping or extended bluewater passages.
Sophia is the fourth sistership in this remarkable class. Her elevated aft deck, reached via three gentle steps, features expansive sunpads and cleverly conceals a full-height, multi-purpose tender garage that transforms into a luxury beach club. Thanks to this subtle design innovation, the space enjoys exceptional headroom and versatility.
Another signature feature is her distinctive downward-pointing bow, which not only enhances sightlines to the water from the bridge but also accentuates Sophia’s long, elegant profile.
Layout/Interior
A sophisticated interior by acclaimed Italian designer Cristiano Gatto accommodates up to twelve guests across five beautifully appointed staterooms. The master suite, located forward on the main deck, is bathed in natural light and feels bright and airy, while the four remaining guest suites on the lower deck offer space, comfort, and privacy.
Sophia is designed for outdoor living as much as interior comfort. The beach club places guests right at the water’s edge for easy access to watersports and relaxation, while the expansive sunpad area on the main deck terrace is perfect for unwinding after a swim. Al fresco dining can be enjoyed on the bridge deck aft terrace, or on the spacious sundeck with sweeping sea views.
