Arriving in Trogir in the morning, you will get the whole day to experience the town often referred to as ‘Little Venice’. Awarded with becoming an UNESCO heritage town in 1997, Trogir’s old town is a network of alleyways full of architectural, cultural and historical monuments with its own incredible atmosphere. With Romanesque and Renaissance buildings from the 13th and 15th centuries, Trogir is a fascinating place to wander around in the sunshine. For the best views of the town climb the tower of the St. Lawrence Cathedral; a Venetian cathedral in the town square, considered one of the finest archtectural works in the whole of Croatia. After working up an appetite, why not go to the seaside promenade for something to eat or an apperitif before returning to your yacht for dinner. You can find plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes catering to all guests along this promenade. A particular favourite among many visitors is Fontana Hotel and Restaurant. With a large outdoor terrace, you can enjoy quality, traditional Dalmation food with a spectacular view of the sea and Riva below.
Upon your arrival in Split at 12:00 noon, you will be offered a refreshing glass of chilled champagne. After meeting your Captain and Crew who will be taking first-class care of you for the next seven days, you will set off in pursuit of Vis. Here you can explore this island and its intriguing history. Serving as a military base for the Yoguslav army, Vis was cut off from visitors from the 1950’s up until 1989. This meant that the island was preserved against much development meaning old Croatian tradition and culture have remained unchanged, giving you an authentic taste of Vis’ history. Your stopover here in Vis will be the town of Komiža which is situated in a large sandy bay, perfect for a refreshing afternoon dip and fun on the onboard water toys. It is recommended whilst in Vis that you sample the local seafood and wine, so why not take a late lunch or dinner in the town before returning to your yacht.
